Antique Sons and Daughters of Liberty Printers Block

15 x 5.5 pica (2 1/2 x 7/8 inch)

Another fine early 20th century cut with a patriotic logo for the Sons and Daughters of Liberty. In 1915, the Daughters of Liberty, an auxiliary of Jr. Order of American Mechanics, renamed itself Sons and Daughters of Liberty and apparently began including male members. The agenda remained the same as its parent, Daughters of America, and its parent, JOUAM. Electrotype copper face mounted on hardwood printers block.
