Description: What a classic image this block depicts. George Washington's crossing of the Delaware, occurring on December 25, 1776 during the American Revolutionary War, was the first move in a surprise attack against the Hessian forces in Trenton, New Jersey at the Battle of Trenton. This block was originally used for DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) magazine. Metal alloy face mounted on hardwood printing block.
