1912 era Antique White Treadle Sewing Machine

Size: 13 x 13.5 pica ( 2 1/8 x 2 3/16 inch )

Description: Early White Treadle Sewing Machine that features an ornate nameplate, rounded drawers, and a foot operated treadle. In 1858 Thomas H. White began building single-thread sewing machines in Templeton, Massachusetts. In 1866 he relocated to Cleveland Ohio and in 1876, White incorporated his business as the White Sewing Machine Co. and began manufacturing sewing machines. Hardwood Printers Block with electrotype copper faceplate.
